Lurgaboy Adventure Centre is a
family run business which was set up by Armagh mountaineer
Richard Dougan and his partner Arlene Robertson in 2004. Richard has been passionate
about the outdoors from a very young age and was inspired to
set up the centre during his successful trip as leader of
the Mt Everest expedition from Northern Ireland in 2003.
Since then it has developed into a thriving family business,
with involvement Richard's parents and sister Rachel who
shares his passion for the outdoors.
We truly believe that the
outdoors provides a wonderful environment for developing
confidence, breaking down barriers, raising self esteem and
having fun! Using the great outdoors, we strive to
offer unique experiences where young people and adults can
enjoy adventure and realise their potential.
As a family run business, we
aim to offer real value for money and a positive, enjoyable,
experience for all.
