We are proud to announce that Lurgaboy Adventure Centre were recently 'Highly Commended' in the JFC innovation awards for Rural Business.    The main sponsors of the years awards were JFC, Teagasc, The Farmers Journal and DARD, Northern Ireland.

CHARITY CYCLE AROUND IRELAND

In June 2009,  Lurgaboy Adventure Centre's 'Director' will cycle 1695 miles around the Island of Ireland unsupported.  He will  will cycle on average 120 miles per day over a period of two weeks. Every penny donated will go towards The Cedar Foundation.

Unsupported? - No hotels or B&B. Panniers will be attached to the bicycle and filled with camping equipment.

Why the Cedar Foundation? 'I was inspired to undergo this challenge by a volunteer who is currently part of the team at Lurgaboy Adventure Centre. He was introduced to us by The Cedar Foundation and is a much valued member of staff.'  The Cedar Foundation works with adults and young people who have disabilities to enable them to fully participate in community life.

Our activity gift vouchers make the perfect pressie for friends and relatives with a sense of adventure.  Vouchers entitle participants to a 3-hour session of activities which can include:
